I don't really know what to say about this game, other then the Bears had some really bad luck with penalties. The 1st period started off with 4 penalties on 2 people. Hershey's Patrick Wellar was charged with fighting and unsportsmanlike conduct, and Norfolk's Zack Stortini was charged with the same. At the 7:52 mark, Norfolk's Charles Sarault was charged with tripping. Right before the power play ended, Hershey got on the board. Michael Latta scored his 9th of the season, from Nicolas Deschamps & Brandon Segal. At the 11:33 mark, Norfolk's Dave Steckel was charged with hooking. 17 seconds before the period ended, Hershey was charged with a bench minor for too many men. Hershey had a 9-5 shot advantage after the 1st.

This is where the Bears' luck ran out. At the 2:28 mark of the 2nd, Hershey's Nicolas Deschamps was charged with slashing. At the 9:46 mark, Norfolk tied it up. Andre Petersson scored his 18th of the season, from Charles Sarault & Emerson Etem. Around 45 seconds later, Hershey's Tyson Strachan was charged with boarding. 4 minutes later, Norfolk took the lead on a goal that was controversial.
