The losing streak is over! Great to see the win happen against a good team like this. The 1st period didn't have much going on. At the 12:30 mark, Hershey's Dane Byers was charged with slashing. At the 16:58 mark, Norfolk's Nolan Yonkman was charged with unsportsmanlike conduct. After the 1st, Norfolk had a 9-7 lead in shots.

The 2nd period had more going on. At the 2:25 mark, Norfolk got on the board. Devante Smith-Pelly scored his 21st of the year, from Andre Petersson & Ryan Parent. Less than 2 minutes later, Hershey tied it up. Michael Latta scored his 8th of the season, from Dane Byers & Nate Schmidt. At the 7:55 mark, Norfolk's Steve Eminger was charged with hooking. Hershey would take advantage to take a 2-1 lead. Casey Wellman scored his 15th of the season, from Nate Schmidt (2nd assist of the night) & Jeff Taffe. At the 16:18 mark, Hershey's Julien Brouillette was charged with delay of game. To finish the period, at the 19:13 mark, Dave Steckel was charged with cross-checking. The shot advantage was tied at 19 after the 2nd.

The 3rd period didn't have any penalties, but it had two goals. At the 13:15 mark, Hershey made it a two goal game. Dane Byers scored his 11th of the season (2nd point of the night), from Michael Latta (2nd point of the night) & Julien Brouillette. 6 seconds before the end of the game, Norfolk got it to 3-2. Max Friberg scored his 12th of the season, from Antoine Laganiere & Steve Eminger. Norfolk finished with the shot advantage at 33-24. David Leggio had a strong performance with his 31 saves. Hershey will look to start a winning streak tomorrow night, as they once again play the Norfolk Admirals. Game time is at 7:15.
