Recap

A disappointing weekend for the Bears. What started out great (win on Friday, up 2-1 in the 3rd yesterday) turned into a nightmare. Starting in the 1st period, at the 8:27 mark, Hershey's Dane Byers was charged with checking to the head. On that power play, Manchester took the lead. Zach O'Brien scored his 10th of the season, from James Livingston & Andy Andreoff. At the 11:38 mark, a couple penalties were given out. Hershey's Joel Rechlicz was charged with roughing, and Manchester's Andrew Campbell was charged with a double minor for roughing. After the 1st, Manchester had a 12-2 shot advantage.

Early in the 2nd, the Bears were able to tie it up. Julien Brouillette scored his 10th of the season, from Matt Watkins and Philipp Grubauer. 2 minutes later, Hershey's Ryan Potulny was charged with tripping. 24 seconds into the power play, Manchester got the lead back. Andrew Bodnarchuk scored his 7th of the season, from Linden Vey. After the 2nd, Manchester had a dominating 25-8 shot advantage. The 3rd period only had a penalty, and it was against Manchester for too many men on the ice. Manchester finished with a 36-20 shot advantage. Philipp Grubauer finishes with 34 saves in a game that he shouldn't have lost. The Bears will look to rebound at home on Friday against the Albany Devils. Game time is at 7.
