Recap

Pheonix Copley's shutout streak was broken very quickly and often in this game. Hershey made a great effort to come back, but it would be too late. Like I said, at 1:50 of the 1st period, the streak was broken quickly. Daniil Tarasov scored his 1st of the season, from Jeremy Langlois & Konrad Abeltshauser. 14 seconds later, Hershey tied it up quickly. Joel Broda scored his 2nd of the season, from Dustin Gazley & Tomas Kundratek. At the 8:57 mark, Worcester took back the lead. Tyler Kennedy scored his 1st of the season, from Bryan Lerg & Matt Taormina. After the 1st, the Bears had the 11-10 shot advantage.

A few minutes after a penalty against the Bears to start off the 2nd, Hershey tied it back up. Cameron Schilling scored his 1st of the season, from Erik Burgdoerfer & Tim Kennedy. More than a minute later, Worcester took back the lead again. Freddie Hamilton scored his 4th of the season, from Jeremy Langlois (2nd assist of the night) & Konrad Abeltshauser (2nd assist of the night). A few minutes later, Hershey's Mike Moore and Worcester's Micheal Haley got 7 minutes each for fighting and unsportsmanlike conduct. At the 16:30 mark, Worcester increased their lead to two. Daniil Tarasov scored his 2nd of the season, from Eriah Hayes & Melker Karlsson. After the 2nd, the Sharks had the 21-16 shot advantage.

27 seconds into the 3rd, the Bears' Chandler Stephenson was charged with boarding. On that power play, the Sharks made it 5-2. Micheal Haley scored his 5th of the season, from Taylor Fedun & Matt Taormina (2nd assist of the night). A little under 3 minutes later, the Bears made it 5-3. Kris Newbury scored his 5th of the season, from Tomas Kundratek (2nd assist of the night) & Dane Byers. After a few penalties for each team, and with the extra attacker on, the Bears got within one. Steve Oleksy scored his 3rd of the season, from Dustin Gazley (2nd assist of the night) & Kris Newbury (2nd point of the night). The Sharks finished with the 28-23 shot advantage.
