From some of the games so far, we've seen that this team has some great potential. They just need to find a consistency to their game. The game started off with a fight between Hershey's Tim Spencer and Syracuse's Philippe Paradis. At the 5:58 mark, the Bears would take the lead. Kris Newbury scored his 9th of the season, from Casey Wellman & Nathan Walker. 2 minutes later, Syracuse would tie it. Mike Angelidis scored his 3rd of the season, from Jerome Samson. At the 14:11 mark, Syracuse took the lead. Kevin Lynch scored his 1st of the season, from Jerome Samson (2nd assist of the night) & Dalton Smith. After the 1st, the Crunch had the 11-5 shot advantage.


In the 2nd, the Crunch would take a 3-1 lead at the 4:19 mark. Henri Ikonen scored his 1st of the season, from Mike Angelidis (2nd point of the night) & Dalton Smith (2nd assist of the night). Syracuse would get three penalties called on them in the period, but would kill off each power play with relative ease. After the 2nd, the Crunch had the 17-16 shot advantage. In the 3rd, on a 5-on-3 power play, Syracuse increased their lead to 3. Nikita Nesterov scored his 2nd of the season, from Jonathan Marchessault & Jerome Samson (2nd assist of the night). At the 17:38 mark, Syracuse would get the empty net goal to finish the game at 5-1. Jonathan Marchessault got the goal (his 6th of the season). Syracuse would finish with the 26-22 shot advantage.
