Recap


For how the shot differential was in the game, it was a surprise that the game was close. Hartford's goalie struggled in the beginning, but got better as the game went on. In the 1st, at the 2:34 mark, Hershey continued their trend of scoring first. Connor Carrick got his 2nd of the season, from Chandler Stephenson & Steve Oleksy. 59 seconds later, Hartford tied it up on the power play. Oscar Lindberg scored his 7th of the season, from Justin Valve & Jesper Fast. 5 minutes later, at the 8:24 mark, the Bears took back the lead. Nathan Walker scored his 1st of the season, from Erik Burgdoerfer & Tim Kennedy. After the 1st, the Wolf Pack had a 13-2 shot advantage (100% shot percentage for the Bears).


In the 2nd, the Wolf Pack tied it up quick. Former Bear Chris Bourque scored his 4th of the season, from Dallas Jackson & J.T. Miller. Hartford was charged with two penalties, but the Bears couldn't capitalize. After the 2nd, Hartford had the 21-12 shot advantage. 2:31 into the 3rd, the Wolf Pack took the lead. Oscar Lindberg scored his 2nd of the night (8th of the season), from Ryan Haggerty & Dallas Jackson (2nd assist of the night). Hartford would receive two penalties in the period, but the Bears couldn't capitalize on those chances. Two later Hershey penalties sealed the fate of the game. Hartford finished with the 29-24 shot advantage.
