Recap

What a way to get your first AHL goal! With how the Pirates have been playing, this was a great win on the road. In the 1st, the Bears would get on the board first. Tim Kennedy scored his 9th of the season, from Mike Moore & Stanislav Galiev. However, on a power play for the Bears, the Pirates would get a shorthanded goal to tie it (at the 15:09 mark). Alexandre Bolduc scored his 16th of the season, from Jordan Martinook. A little bit later, a fight would occur between Hershey's Mike Moore & Portland's Francis Wathier. After the 1st, the Bears had the 11-5 shot advantage.

In the 2nd, only one goal would be scored, and it would be for the Bears (at the 8:12 mark). Kris Newbury got his 18th of the season, from Mike Moore (2nd assist of the night) & Chris Brown. After the 2nd, the Pirates had the 20-16 shot advantage. The Pirates would not go down without a fight, as with 7 minutes left in the 3rd, they would tie it up again. Alexandre Bolduc scored his 2nd of the night (17th of season), from Jordan Martinook (2nd assist of night) & Patrick McNeill. Going into the overtime, each team would only have one shot, and the Bears made theirs count. Andre Burakovsky scored his 1st AHL goal, from Mike Moore (3rd assist of the night). Philipp Grubauer put forth another strong performance, finishing with 25 saves (Pirates had the 27-24 shot advantage).

Next Game: Tomorrow at Portland, 7:00
