It seems like it has been ages since the Bears have lost two in a row. The lead on the division is a little smaller with that loss. It would be a tough test against Matt Murray, and it showed towards the beginning. Even with the momentum on their side, the Bears couldn't stop the Penguins from getting the 1st goal. Jayson Megna scored his 17th of the season, from Scott Wilson & Adam Payerl. Around 5 minutes later (at the 10:55 mark), the Bears would tie the game up. Connor Carrick scored his 8th of the season, from Dustin Gazley & Kris Newbury. After the 1st, the Bears had the 14-7 shot advantage.
In the 2nd, the action would not occur until the 2nd half of the period. In that 2nd half of the period, at the 12:06 mark, the Bears would take the 2-1 lead.
