Bears Free Agent Signing News #5

It was announced today that the Bears have signed forward Joel Broda to a one-year deal. Broda was the team captain of the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL last season. In 41 games, he had 40 points (21 goals, 19 assists) to his credit. In the postseason, he had 12 points (8 goals, 4 assists) to his credit. He's played in 132 AHL games in his career. He'll be used to at least the head coach, as Troy Mann was the head coach of the Condors last season.
