Bears Free Agent Signing News #4

It was announced today that the Bears signed forward Philippe Cornet to a one-year deal. Cornet played mostly for the Charlotte Checkers last year after being with the San Antonio Rampage for a few games. In the 62 total games he played (58 for the Checkers), he had 29 points (13 goals, 16 assists) to his credit. He was on the 2012 Western Conference All-Star Team, and he's made two appearances in the Calder Cup Playoffs (both with the Oklahoma City Barons).
