Bears Free Agent Signing News #2

It was announced today that the Hershey Bears have signed forward Tim Spencer to a one-year deal. Spencer has been in the AHL and ECHL before, but he was overseas last year. While playing in 61 games for the EIHL's (Elite Ice Hockey League, based in the United Kingdom) Sheffield Steelers, he had 34 points (10 goals, 24 assists) and 147 penalty minutes to his credit. He's played in 104 AHL games (3 goals, 3 assists, 263 penalty minutes) and 168 ECHL games (8 goals, 21 assists, 541 penalty minutes). Looking at his numbers, he could be a similar player like Joel Rechlicz, but with more impact in scoring than Rechlicz ever had for the Bears.
