Recap

13-game point streak! This team has been on fire lately, and it continues with another dominate win. The 1st period, however, didn't have any scoring. The penalties did not affect the game too much. After the 1st, the Bears had the 12-8 shot advantage. In the 2nd, at the 2:02 mark, the Bears got the first goal of the game. Dustin Gazley scored his 9th of the season, from Kris Newbury & Erik Burgdoerfer. The Bears penalty kill would once again come forth in this period. However, the Sound Tigers' penalty kill would struggle, as the Bears would score at the 12:27 mark on a 5-on-3 power play. Chris Conner scored his 14th of the season, from Connor Carrick & Stanislav Galiev. Less than 3 minutes later, the lead would increase to 3. Dustin Gazley scored his 2nd of the night (10th of season), from Chris Brown. After the 2nd, the Bears had the 23-16 shot advantage.

In the 3rd, the penalties would decrease, but the goals would continue to come. At the 9:22 mark, the Sound Tigers would get on the board on a power play. Cory Gonacher scored his 5th of the season, from Kael Mouillierat & Aaron Ness. 3 minutes later, the Bears would get the 3-goal lead back. Casey Wellman scored his 15th of the season, from Jim O'Brien & Cameron Schilling. As the game was heading to its close, the Bears matched their goal output from last night. Casey Wellman would score again (16th of the season), from Philippe Cornet. Pheonix Copley put forth a strong performance with 27 saves (Bears finished with 32 shots).
