Recap

The Bears go into the All-Star break with a 4 game win streak! If it weren't for a certain call in the 1st period, this game probably wouldn't have gone to overtime. This game was not as penalty filled as the past few games have been, but it still kept up an exciting pace. 32 seconds in, the first fight already occurred between Binghamton's Darren Kramer & Hershey's Liam O'Brien. A few seconds after killing off a penalty, the Senators would take the 1-0 lead. Buddy Robinson scored his 7th of the season. The Bears would get a goal that would have tied it, but the referee waived it off due to a blown whistle. After the 1st, the Bears had the 14-9 shot advantage.

The 2nd period would pick up the scoring. A fight would occur at the 12:26 mark between Binghamton's Buddy Robinson & Hershey's Kris Newbury. 10 seconds later, the Bears would tie the game. Chris Conner scored his 9th of the season, from Tim Kennedy. 39 seconds later, another fight would occur, this time between Binghamton's David Dziurzynski & Hershey's Erik Burgdoerfer. At the 15:22 mark, the Bears would take the lead on a power play. Jim O'Brien scored his 2nd of the season, from Casey Wellman & Philippe Cornet. 37 seconds later, the Senators would tie it up. Carter Camper scored his 5th of the season, from Shane Prince & Cole Schneider. After the 2nd, the Bears had the 27-19 shot advantage.

In the 3rd, each team had chances to get the winning goal with power plays, but neither were able to get on into the net. In the overtime period, the Bears didn't waste much time as they scored 54 seconds in to get the 3-2 victory. Connor Carrick got his 6th of the season, from Tim Kennedy (2nd assist of the night) & Cameron Schilling. The Bears finished with the 36-27 shot advantage. At the All-Star break, the Bears have 51 points (23-13-4-1), and are first place in the division.

Next Game: Friday at Lehigh Valley, 7:05

Note: I will post, as I did last season, the statistics for the team at the All-Star break. That post should be coming within the next couple days.
