Recap

What a crazy game. Full of twists and turns, the Bears were able to survive at the end to take the 3-2 series lead! The tension from the previous game showed right away, as a fight occurred two seconds in between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's Tom Sestito & Hershey's Liam O'Brien. At the 5:45 mark, the Bears would get on the scoreboard first. Carter Camper scored his 3rd of the playoffs, from Jakub Vrana & Garrett Mitchell. Later in the period, the Bears would get a 5-on-3 power play chance and wouldn't waste it. Jakub Vrana scored his 4th of the playoffs (2nd point of night), from Zach Sill & Carter Camper (2nd point of night). After the 1st, the Penguins had the 13-8 shot advantage.

In the 2nd, the momentum would start to turn in the Penguins' favor. At the 9:05 mark, it seemed the Bears had put the game out of reach with a 3-0 lead. Sean Collins scored his 3rd of the playoffs, from Travis Boyd & Aaron Ness. 39 seconds later, the Penguins started their comeback with their first goal. Tom Kostopoulos scored his 4th of the playoffs, from Jake Guentzel & Carter Rowney. After this goal, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton decided to change things up and change their goalie (Casey DeSmith in for Tristan Jarry). About 5 minutes later, the lead became one. Josh Archibald scored his 1st of the playoffs, from Dustin Jeffrey & Barry Goers. After the 2nd, the Penguins had the 23-15 shot advantage.

In the 3rd, the game would get even crazier. 3:53 into the period, the player that has annoyed the Bears the most got the tying goal for the Penguins. Tom Sestito scored his 1st of the playoffs, from Teddy Blueger & Josh Archibald (2nd point of night). Sestito would be hit with two misconducts, one being a game misconduct, for his celebrations after. Just about two minutes later, the Bears would get what would be the game-winning goal on the penalty kill. Zach Sill scored his 1st of the playoffs (2nd point of night), from Ryan Stanton. With 1:01 left in the period, Hershey would get the empty-net goal to seal the victory. Ryan Bourque scored his 1st of the playoffs, from Zach Sill (2nd assist/3rd point of night). The Penguins finished with the 32-25 shot advantage.
