Recap

A strong first period from the Bears couldn't stop St. John's from switching the momentum in the 2nd and controlling the 3rd period to get the victory. The penalties were few and far between in the 1st two periods, but that didn't stop the Bears from scoring late in that 1st period. Jakub Vrana scored his 9th of the season, from Travis Boyd & Chris Bourque. After the 1st period, the Bears had the 11-6 shot advantage.

In the 2nd, the IceCaps would turn the momentum in their favor. At the 4:51 mark, they would be able to tie the game. Max Friberg scored his 10th of the season, from Brandon McNally & Andrew Yogan. Hershey would survive penalties late in the period to keep it tied. After the 2nd, the Bears had the 21-16 shot advantage. In the 3rd, the penalties increased but the shots decreased. The IceCaps would be the one to take advantage of a power play, as they would score at the 4:28 mark to make it 2-1. Bud Holloway scored his 18th of the season. Hershey finished with the 24-22 shot advantage.
