According to the Hershey Bears' website, the team has resigned forward Dustin Gazley and defenseman Erik Burgdoerfer to one-year AHL contracts. Gazley had his best season as a Bear, as he had 18 goals and 20 assists in 72 games. In his time with the Bears, he has had 26 goals and 27 assists in 114 games. For Burgdoerfer, this past season was the first that he spent almost all of the season with an AHL team. In 58 games, he had 1 goal and 6 assists. Before this season, he spent most of his time with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL.

The Caps announced recently that they have resigned forward Garrett Mitchell to a two-year, two-way contract. Mitchell served as one of the Bears' alternate captains this season. He had 4 goals and 4 assists in 64 games. He is currently the longest-tenured player with the Bears, as he has been in Hershey fully since the 2011-12 season, although he played a couple games for them in the two seasons before that.
