What a crazy way to start off the new season. The first two periods were filled with goals and penalties. Hershey started off early with a goal at the 3:23 mark from Kris Newbury, with assists from Tomas Kundratek and Dane Byers. A few seconds later, a penalty against Norfolk led to two goals. Norfolk tied it up with a shorthanded goal by Chris Wagner. Less than a minute later, Hershey took the lead back with a power play goal. Philippe Cornet scored his 1st goal as a Bear, with assists to Cameron Schilling and Kris Newbury (2nd point of the game). Another penalty against the Admirals at the 8:50 mark led to another two goals. Chris Wagner scored another shorthanded goal, with an assist from Brad Winchester. 26 seconds after that goal, Hershey scored another power play goal.
