The Bears needed to get at least a point in this game, but it didn't happen. Norfolk showed why they are a strong team. At the 2:50 mark of the 1st period, Hershey's Brandon Segal was charged with boarding. At the 6:40 mark, Norfolk took the 1-0 lead. Josh Manson scored his 1st of the season, from Chris Wagner & Nic Kerdiles. Around 2 minutes later, Hershey tied it up. Chandler Stephenson scored his 1st of the season (in his first pro game), from Cameron Schilling & Kris Newbury. At the 12:35 mark, Norfolk's Matt Bailey was charged with holding. 2 and a half minutes later, Hershey took the 2-1 lead. Michael Latta scored his 14th of the season, from Nicolas Deschamps & Nate Schmidt. Hershey tried to get the tying goal, but Norfolk stayed on the defensive, and they scored an empty netter with 9 seconds left. William Karlsson scored his 2nd of the season. Norfolk finished with the 32-22 shot advantage. Norfolk has now taken a 2 point lead over the Bears for the final spot in the playoffs. Hershey has the chance to get back in that 8th spot on Friday, as they once again play the Norfolk Admirals. Game time is at 7:30.
